I can only say one thing. What a surprising place. We weren't expecting such a beautiful location. The reception staff were also very friendly. This campsite/marina has a working practice of equality in a safe environment for the employees. A very big thumbs up to the owners and staff. We will be back!!!

Our little spot by the water was beautiful.
The sanitary facilities were in order and all amenities were present.

The village is nothing, boring. So, on the bike and off to Surhuisterveen, a shopper's paradise!
At the campsite, everything is present and clean.
From your camper or caravan, you can almost cast your fishing rod for the fishing enthusiasts.
This campsite is a hidden gem that I didn't expect to find behind the industrial buildings. (No disturbance whatsoever). Worth a repeat visit!

A truly fantastic, peaceful spot by the water. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean, the pitches and campsite are well-maintained, and the garden is wonderfully landscaped with beautiful plants and fantastic lighting.
What's also wonderful are the motivated and enthusiastic owners. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good time.
The pitches are very wide but less deep, so a bit of discussion with your neighbour is occasionally needed to get onto the pitch, but then you are truly by the water, where you can cast out your fishing rod.
Been here twice now and will definitely come again.

What lovely days we've had. What a beautiful campsite, so neat with flowers everywhere and friendly people who work there as one team. Especially our harbourmaster. Respect for this campsite and thank you, we enjoyed ourselves.
