1. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all reservations, agreements, and stays at Camping De 4 Elementen.

By making a reservation, the guest declares that they have read these terms and conditions and agree to them.

Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed in writing.

2. Reservations

  • Reservations can be made online, by telephone or by email.
  • A reservation is confirmed once it has been approved by Camping De 4 Elementen.
  • The main booker must be at least 18 years old.
  • The main booker is responsible for all persons included in the booking and for compliance with these terms and conditions.

3. Payment

  • The payment terms will be stated during the booking process and/or in the booking confirmation.
  • Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the booking must be paid in full prior to the commencement of your stay.
  • If a payment is not made on time, Camping De 4 Elementen reserves the right to cancel or terminate the reservation.

4. Arrival and Departure

  • Arrival and departure times are listed in the booking confirmation and/or on the website.
  • If guests arrive later than planned, please inform us in good time.
  • In case of early departure, there is no right to a refund of accommodation costs already paid.

5. Cancellation

  • Cancellations must be communicated in writing or by e-mail.
  • Free cancellation is possible until 1 month before the arrival date.
  • On cancellation between 1 month and 14 days before arrival is 50% of the total booking amount charged.
  • On cancellation 14 days or less before arrival is 100% of the total booking amount charged.
  • By no-show, late arrival or early departure No refund will be made.
  • We advise guests to take out cancellation insurance.
  • If Camping De 4 Elementen has to cancel a reservation due to force majeure, any amounts already paid will be refunded in full. The campsite is not liable for any additional damage, costs incurred, or consequential loss.

6. Visitors

  • Day visitors are welcome upon registration with the administrator.
  • For visitors, there is a charge of €4.50 per person per day, unless otherwise stated.
  • Visitors are only permitted to remain on the premises with the permission of the manager.
  • The main booker remains responsible for the behaviour of their visitors.
  • Camping De 4 Elementen reserves the right to refuse access to visitors if it is necessary for the peace, safety or order on the site.

7. Pets

  • Dogs are allowed if reported in advance.
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
  • Owners must clean up excrement immediately.
  • Dogs must not cause a nuisance to other guests, staff, or animals.
  • Dogs must not be left unsupervised on the campsite.
  • Any damage caused by pets will be entirely the responsibility of the owner.

8. Order, peace and safety

  • Guests should be considerate of fellow guests, local residents, and the natural environment.
  • Between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM Night's rest applies. Noise nuisance must be avoided during this period.
  • Causing nuisance, aggressive behaviour, vandalism, discrimination or other undesirable behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Instructions from the owner, manager or staff must be followed immediately.
  • In the event of a serious or repeated breach of the house rules, access to the campsite may be terminated immediately without entitlement to a refund of any amounts paid.

9. Liability

  • Staying at Camping De 4 Elementen is entirely at your own risk.
  • Camping De 4 Elementen is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of guests' property.
  • The campsite is not liable for injury, damage or accidents during your stay, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Camping De 4 Elementen.
  • The use of play equipment, water, fire pits, and other facilities is entirely at your own risk.
  • Parents, guardians and carers remain responsible for minor children at all times.
  • Guests are liable for damage caused by themselves, their fellow guests, visitors, or pets to the campsite's property or that of third parties.

10. Force Majeure

Camping De 4 Elementen is not liable for damage, cancellations, or shortcomings due to force majeure. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, fire, power or water outages, epidemics, pandemics, government measures, strikes, and other circumstances over which Camping De 4 Elementen cannot reasonably exert influence.

11. Complaints

Complaints should be reported to the manager as soon as possible during your stay so that a solution can be sought together.

Camping De 4 Elementen will endeavour to handle complaints appropriately and within a reasonable timeframe.

If a complaint is not reported during your stay, it may limit our ability to offer a suitable resolution.

12. Privacy

The processing of personal data is subject to the Privacy Statement of Camping De 4 Elementen.

The Privacy statement can be consulted via the website.

12. Applicable law

Dutch law shall apply exclusively to all reservations, agreements and stays.

Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or from a stay at the campsite shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

14. Slotbepaling

Camping De 4 Elementen reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions.

The most current version is always available via the website and can be provided free of charge if desired.
